PfizerLink collects the personal information you choose to provide (“User Information”). PfizerLink may ask for the following User Information when you access the website, including:

• Personal Information (PI) such as your legal first and last name, month and year of birth, home address, and telephone number for identity verification.
• Personal Information (PI) such as your name and email address, so that you can create a PfizerLink account.
• Personal Information (PI) that you may choose to provide as you consider whether to join PfizerLink.
• Personal Information (PI) such as your phone number, so that PfizerLink can text you if you opt in to receiving texts from PfizerLink.
• Usage Data (purely structured, technical, and automated data).
• Survey response data (if you choose to respond to optional surveys providing feedback on PfizerLink).

We will not collect, store, analyze, disclose, or otherwise use this User Information except as needed to: process data you have sent us; respond to your questions or requests; provide you with technical support or updates; or enforce the terms of this Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and any other policies or legal requirements governing the use of PfizerLink. In submitting this User Information to us, you consent to our use of it for these limited purposes.

We may use User Information to:

• Improve PfizerLink’s functionality and provide customer service to you.
• Respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests, for example:

• Our third-party service providers, to permit them to provide authorized services on our behalf, such as identity verification, account creation, customer service, email delivery and engagement, and auditing.

We may also use and disclose the information you provide, as we believe to be necessary or appropriate to:

We may aggregate the information that you and other PfizerLink users provide on a de-identified basis. If we do, we may use and disclose such aggregated information for any purpose. Aggregated information does not personally identify you or any other user.

This following provisions apply to the Personal Information of California residents collected by Pfizer, whether collected online or offline. These provisions supplement the other sections of the Privacy Policy, and supersede the other sections as to California Residents to the extent that there is any inconsistency.

We do not “sell” Personal Information about California residents.

Individual Rights

Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to make the following requests, at no charge, up to twice every 12 months:

• Copy: You may request a copy of the specific pieces of Personal Information that we have collected about you in the prior 12 months and to have this delivered, free of charge, either (a) by mail or (b) electronically in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily useable format that allows you to transmit this information to another entity without hindrance.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your Personal Information we have collected about you.
• Know: You may request that we provide you certain information about how we have handled your Personal Information in the prior 12 months, including the:
  • categories of Personal Information collected;
  • categories of sources of Personal Information;
  • business and/or commercial purposes for collecting your Personal Information;
  • categories of third parties with whom we have disclosed or shared your Personal Information; and
  • categories of Personal Information that we have disclosed or shared with a third party for a business purpose.
• Opt-Out: You may stop all further collection of information by PfizerLink by deactivating your account. If you choose not to complete enrollment and would like exercise your data privacy rights under applicable state law, please contact us with your request atwww.pfizer.com/individualrights.

You have the right to be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Submitting Requests

You may submit requests to delete, copy and/or know Personal Information we have collected about you by visiting www.pfizer.com/individualrights. We will respond to your request consistent with applicable law.

Your User Information is stored and encrypted as described in this section. 

The following data is always transferred to and stored on an external cloud server (encrypted data marked with *): Name (first name and last name) and email address, month and year of birth, home address, telephone number, and password*

If you choose to register with PfizerLink, the User Information you provide as part of your registration for/opt-in to PfizerLink will be used by Pfizer and any other third-party service providers providing services on Pfizer’s behalf, in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may use cookies and other technologies to recognize you as you use PfizerLink so that we can understand how PfizerLink is used and can personalize and enhance your experience. These technologies collect certain information automatically, such as:

• Information about your device, such as your screen resolution, operating system, device manufacturer and model, language and browser type. We use this information to ensure that PfizerLink functions properly.
• Information about your use of PfizerLink, including content viewed on the PfizerLink website and sent via email, features used and the dates and times of your interactions with PfizerLink on an aggregate and de-identified basis. We use this information to understand how users engage with PfizerLink and to customize and improve the PfizerLink experience.

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in their web browsers. When a user turns on DNT, the browser sends a message to websites requesting that they not track the user. This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the information collection, use, disclosure or security practices, or other practices, of any third party, including any third party operating a service to which PfizerLink links. The inclusion of a link within the PfizerLink website does not imply our endorsement of the linked service.

We seek to use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect the information you provide to us. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please immediately notify us.

You may stop all further collection of information by PfizerLink by deactivating your PfizerLink account. If you choose not to complete enrollment and would like exercise your data privacy rights under applicable state law, please contact us with your request at www.pfizer.com/individualrights.

Participation in PfizerLink in restricted to individuals eighteen (18) and older. PfizerLink is not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from such individuals.

PfizerLink is controlled and operated by us from the United States and is not intended to subject us to the laws or jurisdiction of any state, country or territory other than that of the United States. The information we collect through PfizerLink may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers. By using PfizerLink, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States, which may have different data protection rules than those of your country.

From time to time, we may update this Privacy Policy. Any changes will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on the website. Your use of PfizerLink following these changes means that you accept the revised Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy was last updated as of the “Last Updated” date shown above.
